Default Not quite the way things should be done?

Came across this vid. of some people falling a tree and one bloke taking flying lessons. Only in America?
What would workcover say about this?

I still can't figure out what exactly he thought he was gonna do.

Did he MEAN to be a slingshot redneck? Or did he think he was gonna hold the tree from falling or something? WTFO....

Freaking nuts.

Thumbs up Re: Not quite the way things should be done?

I reckon it was set up to appear that he was shangai'd by the tree.

Continuity was a bit mixed up!

Could not walk away from that.

When we tried it we had a more realistic result, we spilt our can!!!!!!!!!!!

All the best to everyone.

seems like some camera trickery there eh???

a sharper chain would have ensured a much faster result..

That little vid. ought to be in each and evry training course on how (not) to fall a tree. If it wasn't so serious it would be funny.
Naah, stuffit. It was funny!

NG, I thought you were a big fan of using the angled backcut?

Or at least, you used to argue vociferously about its usefullness. Whats up? Are you changing techniques?

It was a fake, look carefully, very carefully and you'll see that conveniently get the guy out of the clip, then there's a switch and the body is different. His shirt also had a distinct white print on the back not seen with the body that went over.

Tis but trickery.

Lol I don't even see the point of the bloody video, let alone to try and trick some one about it

In hindsight, I did think he came up pretty scratch-less from it.
