Glass bowl??? Whatcha gonna replace it with?

I hear ya on the brakes. I flipped my quad a lil bit back and the front discs dont have any stopping power. Since I'm takin it out tomorow for some scouting stuff I was gonna bleed the brakes tonight but I keep putting it off cuz its alread about 20*F and dropping outside...

I guess I'll go do that now cuz it'll only get colder =)

Good luck with the truck! Looks like a beast!

I gotta replace it with a new carbuerator because I can't buy just the bowl.i'm gonna put a racing coil, some accel 8.8mm plug wires and some hot plugs in it as well.when I'm all done it should do about 18 mpg highway.I gotta fix my 4 wheeler too.I gotta rering it and rebuild the carb.I have a polaris 250 trailblazer. It'll do 80 mph.I also rolled going that fast. Can you say ouch.

OH MY GOD That sounds painfull!!! How'd the quad fare after that?

My TRX 300 is too small for me, but it was the right price =) I was comin off of a jump and into a corner and just didn't give it enough body language, rolled right on over off the right side and it bounced over the top of me. God lucky!

My worst accident to date was goin down inside a corner on my streetbike. Slid 150 feet across the asphalt. Spent hour and a half strapped to a paramedics backboard on the side of the road waiting for my ambu which got lost

Other than having to rereing it and having to rebuild the carb its fine.It only has front brakes which makes for some awesome donuts.

Nice!!!
Love those old effies.Lifted or lowered they get my vote.
Like any old vehicle they are easy to work on. I guess there are still alot of parts availability in the US for them!!!

My father had 3 of these and 2 250's I learnt to drive in them. The 250's were V8's he never knew what I did in them, I had a F100 302 V8 once, didn't like it much. I've got an old Falcon ute now, 351 V8 with a bit of work but I can't really get it going around here, 50 & 100 km limits.
There are plenty of 60's trucks still around and you can get parts here.
Don't have my scanner set up yet so I can't post pictures as they are pre digital.

Send me a shopping list of what you need, there are old trucks like that all over the place up here. We have a '61 Chev Apache, '52 Studebaker "R" Series 1/2 ton and a '52 Chev one ton all sitting in the yard. Funny how I never seem to have enough money to work on them. There is one more I just about forgot about, a '47 Chev 2 ton 7 window that my grandpa bought the year they moved from Manitoba. I'll try and get some pics.

as of right now moneys tight so no working on it right now.I need a carb but if you have just a bowl that isn't broke or cracked thats fine and a drivers doo and a decent set of 17.5x8 tires.I need a matched set of 4 for the daul wheels as they a really bad.
