Finally! All the paper work is done and it's now mine! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Been putting off getting one as long as possible, but I was turning down too much work, so I just got a small Bandit 65XL with the 35hp Wisconsin. At present I'm about three weeks behind - looking forward to trying to catch up.

Good idea. I've seen a few posts of his regarding this model and some of the mods he's done - pretty cool. I went with the single roller because of one such post by TM and it was his endorsement, despite Bandit giving him the run around, that finally tipped the scale in favor of this model. That's class TM.

I'll get some tomorrow (it's now 11:00 PM here). Bit of pricing first thing in the morning then off to try my new toy.

I had one of them too, but 31hp duetz diesel. Great little machine, reliable and economical to run. Good luck with it. And yeah listen to TM, he knows these upside down. |

Yeah nice and shiny, black to match the ute too. Nothing like new gear is there, you know there's no botched up repairs to find. What's the capacity, 7"? Ideal for all those Doug fir branches.

It's a 6" - Bandit chippers. I looked at the Vermeer, but I've tried a few these and that 6" X 6" opening along with 27hp was an exercise in frustration. I've talked to a number of people who have the Bandit and it seemed the way to go if I wanted a small machine. The family van has been relocated to outside parking now.

Well, it's been a week and I just want to say that I love this machine! For what I need it for, it couldn't be a better fit. There is no comparison to the Vermeer, which if I had to use for a week I'd set on fire and collect the insurance. Productivity is way up and I'm back-logged on jobs I wouldn't even touch before. Couldn't be more pleased.

Hey Streyken, You've been all Summer with your machine. Tell us, now that she's all broken in, tell us more of the inside scoop. I love the black. That's a beautiful machine. |

Still lovin' it; probably one of the best decisions I've made. For the type of shop I run it's perfect. It's paid for itself at least twice over already (that's in the work it's done), but still has under 60 hours of running time! Just flipped the blades for the first time last week. One of the spin-off effects I'm finding, is all the non clean-up work I'm getting .
