Default Movies, real good/bad

Anybody want to talk about movies? Movies that make you laugh, cry, scared, or even mad you wasted your hard earned money on such a stinker.

Some days I'd prefer Dumb and Dumber to an academy award winner. I'd usually like to laugh my ass off than watch misery. I recently watched "Hancock" and at the end they did one of those "think the movie is over, well guess again", everyone stands in the aisles and see what they got to add. Well, way too late to rescue this rag! I was the only one that kept walking though. Maybe it was good for others. (or not)

Both my boys have seen Hancock, They both raved about it maybe its been aimed more for the younger viewers?

My wife and l done the movie thing a while back problem is it does'nt take long to see tham all, l still remember the last one l seen..The name only..The Sphere..5 minutes in l was asleep..LOL..l'd copp the elbow in the ribs..."your starting to snore" l slept on and off all the way through. That cured me!

Hancock, after hearing the boys yapping away about it, l was going to take the missus to see..I might wiat till it comes out on CD it doesn't take long these day you no sooner see it advertised and bingo it on CD.

Saturday night l watched a heap of old music clips on you tube, Elvis,Bo Diddly,Buddy Holly,Bruce Springsteen,Niel Young,Joe Cocker,Johnny Cash,Willie Nelson,...It was good.l played one to my youngest son and he laughed and asked did you really like that type of music?...LOL

Ha ha, I fell asleep in Hancock. Maybe I missed some deep philosophical point that would have changed my mind???.....Nah,... it sucked .

I am going to fall asleep in most of them esp. the "chick flicks" that the wife always wants to see. Tell me something, why are all men in flicks that cheat on their wives fluckin creeps, but when Merril Streep cheats with Clint Eastwood in Bridges of Madison County....it is sooooo romantic and deep and meaningful?

PS. My kid loves the oldies when it comes to music.

Saw "Get Smart" last week.
I enjoyed it.

The best movie I've seen for a while was "Worlds Fastest Indian"
Loved that one!

I got to ck out Get Smart now that I heard that it is good. One of my fav actors. What a crack up. 40 year old virgin, right?

I really liked Worlds Fastest Indian. My Uncle visited last summer after not seeing him since I was a little kid. He reminded me of the star so much in how he acted, talked and looked that I will always think of him with that movie. He passed this spring. Not good on memory anymore but I think it was Anthony Hopkins, the name. I love motorcycles so I just went by myself.

why don't they just "legalize" that word and put it in Websters. It would lose it's appeal. They started letting the kids in our highschool say ???? this and that but cannot f you or go f yourself and the like. Liberals

What I came up wasn't animation but "balloon aerobics". Not bad though.

Just watching a charming old film called "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning" with what looks a 20 year old Albert Finney. They are always firing up a "fag", funny how the meaning of words can take a drastic change. They are also always sipping on tea and kettle is screaming. Like my house when I was young and even today. Vintage 1960.

Lol Joe dirt rocks. About a year ago Kmart and BigW (Your Walmart equivelents) had massive DVD sales for like 5 bucks each, so naturally my girlfriend dragged me there and we bought heaps and heaps of comedies, ever since I've been hooked on them mad 3 dvds in one packet for $15 specials. Just yesterday I bought one with: There's something about Mary, Dodgeball and Shallow Hal.

I guess comedy is my favourite all time genre, but I will watch anything going from drama to horrors to westerns. Just got that Forbidden Kingdom(Jackie Chan and Jet Li) on DVD(DVD quality) and it's an alright movie with a pretty weird story line and OMG they got the MOST UGLIEST KID BLOKE EVER for the main character.

I thought Hancock was pretty kewl, I recall the opening scene being the best one of the lot, flying drunk seems pretty kewl to me lol. A weird but original hero/storyline. Getting pretty bored with all these Marvel Superheros coming to life...

I like Nicolas Cage movies, they are gun... Con Air all time favourite with Face Off closely following but with one of his latest movies: Next rivalling for its number 2 spot. Next is a pretty kewl movie, guy can see 1 minute and 30 seconds into the future and the feds want his help to find some terrorists and their bomb, it's a good watch.

How about "300" and of course all the "Matrix". When they come on HBO the kid and I are glued to the tube, just can't get enough of them, the wife leaves us alone for a while she just doesn't get it.

Oh yeah, Sin City! An excellent movie! Many don't get it, but I did and I liked it. Sin City 2 is coming out soon... Can't wait for that.

The Matrix Trilogy was pretty good too, although the way it ended still leaves ya hanging wanting more...

300... Great movie, weird ass storyline, man I wanted him to kill that tall deep voiced guy and what was with all the mutants?

Anybody seen Batman yet? Went with my son last week a half hour early. Huge parking was full, and two neighboring restaurant parking lots, usually empty at that time were completely full. Waited in line and got up the counter and sold out sign went up.

The media reckons that The Dark Night is going to top Titanic for the #1 spot of Gross $$$

They reckon its gunna be over $400 mil gross by the first week of August. In Aus it has grossed over $7mil just this week.

Imagine if the Croc' Hunter had of had a movie awaitin premiere eh? Heaths death stung and sucked, but NO WHERE near as much as Steve Irwin..

R.I.P Ya Aussie legends
