Not sure why, but a movie came to mind tonight that I saw with most of our children, and was trying to get our 14 year old son to guess it. My memory of it was vague. Anyhow, we figured it out... Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events Anyone else ever see that one - with Jim Carrey? He really gets some unique roles. I was surprised to see him act in "The Majestic" because I didn't realize he could handle Drama stuff. |

I tend to like action, adventure and some drama - only a little comedy. Comedy is nice, but a lot of comedy movies are foolish comedy, rather than shrewd or "smart as a whip" type comedy. | |

I saw Stone Cold Steve Austin in a movie just recently laying the smack down on some nutters. 10 death row prisoners are taken to an island for a last man standing death match broadcast live on the net, the survivor goes free ....

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, no, never saw it but will keep me eyes open. Did anyone out there get to see " Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels", very funny in places but with plenty of violence thrown in for good measure. I know it's quite old now, a few years, just wondered if you'd caught it at all? Infact it's one of me favourites! A should see!

Not knowing what a "lemony snickett" was... I've been putting off reading this thread. I keep getting a mental picture of some really yummy lemony treat. Finally, I had to give in. Sadly, that's not what it is, apparently. <sigh> I was kinda hoping someone was gonna give a recipe for Lemony Snicketts.... oh well. |
