In their "Mission Statement" it begins ...

" For thousands of years,
the human race has spread out across the Earth, scaling mountains and plying the oceans, planting crops and building highways, raising skyscrapers and atmospheric CO2 levels, ...."

If they're so worried about CO2 levels, why are they going to Mars? The Martian atmosphere has been determined to be 95.3% CO2, 2.7% nitrogen, 1.6% argon, and .13% oxygen.

If CO2 is their problem, they should stay here and plant more trees.

They reckon it's a 5 year trip just to get there.
If anything hits the fan a couple a years out, well, your about f....d
Maybe they should start training up some death row guys for that one, they've nothing to lose!
Mind you, they'd probably head straight back down to Earth and flog the 90 billion dollar spaceship for some good time money.

If (never was) I was smart enough to go through all that training and fit enough to be able to withstand 10 G's or more at take off I'd be using my talents to attract the attention of really good looking young ladys!
Q? You've passed, How about flying our space ship to Mars for us?
A! Mars? Are you totally off your rocket mate, I'd rather stick pins in my eyes!
