Just for bill
"What else can I be," returned the uncle, "when I live in such a world of fools as this? Merry Christmas! Out upon merry Christmas! What's Christmas time to you but a time for paying bills without money; a time for finding yourself a year older, but not an hour richer; a time for balancing your books and having every item in 'em through a round dozen of months presented dead against you? If I could work my will," said Scrooge indignantly, "every idiot who goes about with 'Merry Christmas' on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart. He should!"

That's cool Bill. But I would have thought you would want to show us your clearly superior American culture off by having a day off, great party and then posting us all the pics. Whatever you do get up to I hope you have a great time.

I was just waiting to get closer to the day.

Of course, Merry Christmas to all, and it's nice to have a break but dang tough to get a park at the shops.

I've been watching the thread and for some Christmas is an awkward time. For younger folks perhaps, or seperated families etc. It means different things for different folks, some celebrate it truly as a Christian purpose, others as a time of rest, festivities and peace.

Whatever your persuasion or situation, do take the time to break the routine and ponder beyond the daily chores and routines.... eat, drink and be merry.
