|  Man almost gets jail for abandoning 280 rats. Man spared jail for abandoning 280 rats - Weird news- msnbc.com Apparently 70 some odd rats ended up dying, and the state had to euthanize and cremate the rest, one at a time, at a cost of $5000 !!!! :shocked: |

can't believe nobody would take em for snake food. I'm guessing the guy went to 1 or 2 big chain pet stores and got turned away. So he decided to drop em on the side of the road..... shoulda released em and let nature gobble em up!

Mmmhmm... Hell, I would onlly have charged the state a mere $1000 in that case. Nice big box, some car exhaust... and a match. What's this "euthanize one by one and cremate" BS???  THEY"RE RATS!!! The state almost sends him to jail cuz a bunch of them died and they were in substandard conditions, so what does the state do? It kills them. Wonderfull. LOL |

they have to be seen to be doing the right thing by the animals but why they couldnt drown them and feed them to pet snakes is beyond me. i wonder what thier budget is for pest control rat killing

Yep once again because of Tree World I find that I am in the wrong job. Thanks Therrin, Too much politicaly correctness these day's, if thats a word.
