Do not confuse facts, suspicions or scepticism with blame and complaining.

Assange is putting up documents, people read them and make their own mind up without the spin doctor. He doesn't steal them, they get leaked.

Assange had the skills to secure a server and protect the leaked documents from take downs etc. Everyone knew that leaks posted on regular sites would be taken down, hacked etc but now they have faith in Assange to host those documents. In retaliation USA labels him (treason espionage etc), campaign media against him, attempts to cripple him financially by stopping banks etc dealing with him .... bla bla bla the usual stuff. Gillard also fell for it but in reality he has broken no laws, well that's what Australia Federal Police found anyway.

So a man is persecuted for doing nothing wrong. Ethically then people argue he is doing the wrong thing and there's simply no law to bust him, so expect new laws just like the USA made up whilst they held Hicks in Guantanamo jail for years.

Blaming the US for everything that goes bad is simply your twist on this event, but I do blame the GFC fully on USA and it is the pinnacle of what an irresponsible government and corporate system is capable of.
Your still blaming and complaining, Really try to get over yourself. I would feel sorry for your lack of understanding and real world events that I believe you never experienced. Be that as it may you may keep your talking points and I hope for the sake of your homeland you never suffer what this country has and will in the future due to the actions of one person and many others, yourself included willing to defend said actions.

Wow, I missed quite the edrama here. Heres a link to a story about Bradley Manning, the one who leaked the documents. The authorities can't link him to actually leaking the documents either.

US Struggles to Link Manning, WikiLeaks

Maybe this thread should have been called "Julian Assange, Wikileaks & Conspiracies". Hearing a few conspiracies in here so I may as well chuck another one into the fire. The USA is trying to destabilize all the middle east Dictatorships so they don't pose a direct threat in the future. It can't be primarily about oil, otherwise the prices wouldn't be so retarded.
9/11 was indeed a tragedy, one that I personally believe warranted the response it got, but that response did leave a trail of destruction in its wake. The USA is over $14 trillion in debt, congress can't pass a budget and they are seeking to increase their debt limit. These wars have assisted greatly in destroying the economy of the USA.

Life is really like a box a chocolates for some!

America has been at war since 9/11 and so they should be! If it was my country those terrorists attacked I hope we would respond with the full force of our military.

I feel Mr Assange should with hold any documents that could jeopardize any military action, as I have stated before, then release the information after the action has finished.

America has a habit of befriending a Nation training their military to fight by their side then they have a falling out...such as the Vietnamese, The result was the Vietnam War, then they supported Saddam Hussein so he could sort out Iran, then they went in and destroyed him because he supposedly had weapons of mass destruction which they never found...but I must add he was presented to the world as a murderous dictator so he had it coming.

Seems to me, America has made a lot of enemies over this type of behaviour. I wonder to my self is the America of today the same as the America of WW2? When they hammered the bulk of the invading Japanese forces literally saving our Nation from mass invasion. I suppose for us we were lucky because saving us was a secondary motivation, hatred and pay back was Americas real reason for hammering the japs.

I feel America is starting to spiral out of control, blind patriotism, assumptions, or call it sources. The sources you mention was joe the barber your source while you were having your hair cut?

Sources sound good, but it sounds like mob mentality to me? Enough people think the same so it must be true? In legal circle's this would be viewed as hearsay until documentary evidence was put forward and proved beyond a doubt it is true!

America the land of the free.....yeah right !
