She was supposed to try, fail and realise how damn hard I work. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH. She loves it!!! I just spent 2k in gear for AT and now I look like buying a full kit for the wife too. Its just not fair!!!!!!!!

Mate, you don't know the worst of it. Since she climbed, she's become an expert on everything. You thought she gave you grief before, she's gonna be tellin you what to do and how to do it 24 * 7 now.

An all climbing capable crew is the best.

Tips from the ground is good, and also they'll keep your lines neat, watch that you wont cop a bad lowering swing etc.

I think it's early days and have the medi kit nearby. Climbing is one thing, working up there another, being productive is even a bigger thing. Too slow ... off ya go!

I work with a few really messy early 20 year olds, and no mater how many time you tell them to put things back where they came from the next morning the work shop is in a complete mess. Most of them ether still live at home and there mum wipes there arse for them or they have only just left home to live with their girl and she picks up where mum left off.

If I had the money for all the stuff that got misplaced, lost or actually stolen by employees over the years I could probably retire. It is hard to keep track of all the little stuff and by the time you realize it is gone nobody of course knows nothing. (I love that new stamp thing )

On a big week I can take down 5-8,80 -100 foot trees obviously with all the usuall obstacles in the way.I enjoy the climbs and are very comfortable up there.but sometimes I think it would be nice to wakeup to park rangers job.this is when I'll stress cause ya buggered and ya got the whole crew waiting for ya to bring the tree down.that's contract climbing tho aye only get called for the big ugly crap.I tell them "hey I do cut small stuff to".
