Default Hey TreeSurfer, Rally coming your way!

My other main interest than trees is Rallying.

Theres a major event coming up in your neck of the woods.

Colin Mcrae is entered in his escort. I'd love to see him in that thing!

Yeh, it's a major event, but not as big as it used to be years ago. A few top names usually enter this event. Colin must be coming back, coz he did retire, leaving it to his brother Allister. I wonder if his Co'D' will be Derek Ringer.
Done a bit myself years ago in a Vauxhall Cavalier fitted with a ford V6 engine. But money and family and stuff put pay to that. Have just stopped doing road safety, I think the missus believes that I'm gonna kill myself. She cries if I go over 40mph.
Apparently, it's the safest rally in the world, damn quick though, fast roads and tiny country lanes. The pheasants don't stand a chance........ Check out Austin McHale in this link.

Not so funny when you get some ***'ole jump out in front of you with a branch he just broke off a tree and wave it in front of you. Needless to say, he got arrested, but not for damaging the tree. I should have ran the fool down. At 75mph, would have made a mess hey......
