Loved old Guns N Roses but some of the new GnR sounds like ASS. Axle mixed some sort of thrash metal/techno/rock bullshit. Gave me a headache.

Haven't heard the "15 years in the making" album Chinese Democracy, but most of the buzz about it is extremely negative. I actually saw them this past year. Axl couldn't sing for crap. The band was great but he sounded like his mike was off for half of the show. Highlight was Sebastian Bach came out and sang My Michele like Axl used to sing 20 years ago. He blew the roof off of the place with one song. Even with the bad Axl the music was great.

Unfortunately for most of us that ship has sailed.

Actually I got a chance to see Velvet Revolver before they imploded. Not a bad show except they had to follow Korn who lit the place on fire. At one point Slash yelled into the mic that they weren't done yet when people were leaving. BTW, Weiland is nuts.
