I am knot meaning to take anything away from Tree World input but here is a site that has a whole bunch of knots. Animated Knots by GrogI was in Boy Scouts when I was a kid, never could get the badge for knot tying. Now I spend a third of my year tying one after another, all day long. I am a simple arborist and only have a repitoire of about six knots, and can tie them all with my eyes closed. Always remember TDS. |

Shhhh! Roger I'm officially up to eight now! I had to tie up the three kids at Christmas, and to avoid any escapes I used different kots on each, BUT the boy is a utility arborist, and had to look up a few he might KNOT know!

the Carrick bend, a very pretty knot. Similar to the Zeppelin Bend, but a bit harder to tie...it's a knot I don't use, so would have to think about it. The Carrick Bend |
