Default Golf - A deadly game?

Exclusive: Mother-of-two killed after being hit on head by golf ball - The Daily Record

Quote:
ANCIENT GAME HIT BY RARE TRAGEDIES

Instances of people dying after being hit by a golf ball are relatively rare.

In 1998,13-year-old Declan Fennelly, of Kilkenny, Ireland, was killed by a stray ball.

In 1993,student Robert Hearfield, 17,of Middlesbrough, died after being hit by a ball struck by his best pal in a school playing. field where they had been practising.

American Scott Parlin bounced a shot off a tree and hit his dad Dale,67, on the neck in 2005.Dale dropped dead of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Perhaps the most tragic and bizarre accident happened when a rat ran up 40-year-old golfer David Bailey's leg in Craddockstown, County Kildare,as he hunted for a lost ball.

It urinated on him - and he contracted jaundice and died of kidney failure weeks later.

if you factor in lightning strikes you may be on to something.
Golfers are pretty serious about playing. I have a feeling that if it was as dangerous as tree work, many would still take a chance.
I have thought about that driving through Winter Park, you go right next through many of the holes and you know it could happen.
i need uninsured golfers insurance
