| The past week, I got a laptop, as well as a newer trailer to carry my camping supplies. Between learning to use the laptop, and figuring out Windows Vista, my internet time diminished 50% or more. I also had to transfer my gear to the new trailer - the old one sold online in just 2 days. Anyway, that's what I've been up to. The store - Circuit City - tried to sell me a $95 service to clean the advertising garbage out of the laptop, but I skipped it and found most of the crud myself. I did buy the the extended warranty though. Never would for a desktop, but I don't know how to do anything inside a laptop. |

Actually, my last laptop was a Toshiba, and it malfunctioned twice within one year. Once the screen went totally green, and it was repaired, then the wireless quit working. It doesn't mean I wouldn't own another Toshiba, its just that HP is quite good and there was a sale on it too. The trailer I'm referring to, is an enclosed Cargo trailer. The kind some contractors use, or lawn services. The one I got is quite a bit nicer looking. Its got the diamond aluminum fenders and rock gaurd in front, windows on the side, with vent on top. And its a metallic royal blue. I had a regular camping travel trailer (RV) 2 years ago, but went this method instead because its lighter to haul. Basically, I went to tent camping. But this trailer is so much bigger, that there are two cot spaces on the floor. And thats with still having the oak cabinets mounted on the wall, the small electric refrigerator, and a storage shelf. So I set up the tent when my son goes along, or if it rains, I just put up the dining canopy over a picnic table and sleep in the trailer. Next weekend, I'm working at the coast for a garden club, as well as one of their members. So I'll camp at the state campground there. My favorite campground, up north a few hours, is this one... http://www.mdvaden.com/nehalem_bay.shtml I'll get a site there after we move north again. So does "campers" down there, still refer to men who like men? ![]() | |

| Im looking at a used IBM notebook i think its around a 1.7 built in wireless for traveling, seems to be alot of laptop/notebooks around. Caravan down here means R.V in the US but like most things over the time and tv programs being US made the phrases catch on. A camping "trailer" http://www.dingocampers.com.au/ my favorite camping spot. http://www.woodsidebeachcaravanpark.com.au/ Very good fishing, nice to hear the waves crash in at night while having a beverage. ![]() |

| I heard of a funny 1 a while back. A guy buys a WhinnieBago (not too sure of the spelling.) Whilst driving down the free way, presses the button for auto cruise and goes in the back to make a cup of tea/coffee. Obviously, the thing left the road and crashed. What happened with the law, I don't know, but in a law suit against whinnieBago, he won $$$$$$$$$$$$'s and a new whinnieBago, as the brochure/manual, did not say you had to be behind the wheel at the time when in Auto cruise............ ![]()
