Croc attacks man swimming in Kakadu billabong - Northern Territory News

Quote:
October 2nd, 2009

WAITING: Crocs inhabit waterways all over the Territory... yet some people still insist on taking their chances.

A TOURIST is lucky to be alive after he was attacked by a crocodile after taking a dip in a croc-infested billabong in Kakadu National Park.

The 57-year-old man suffered bone-deep puncture wounds to his right arm.

He had been camping by the waterhole and ignored the park's crocodile warning signs erected in the area.

Might as well put up a sign, use at own risk. Some people I tell you, don't have the sence God gave them to come out of the rain.
