They were considering a tax on fast foods here, like pizza and burgers etc so that they become expensive and you buy sandwiches instead.

Dont know about the UK but the days of the ole chip buttie are numbered!

This is dumbass politicians going too far. In New York City the D-bag mayor has attempted to get rid of cigarettes by taxing them out of existence. Personally I hate cigarettes, but I have a real problem when politicians try to get rid of a legal product by simply making it too expensive. What ever happened to freedom of choice? And now food? What's next water? Oh yeah that one is already starting too. Seems that some politicians are against bottled water.

Well, can always grow ya own tobacco, can make ya own beer, can catch ya own water ... just think outside these dirt bags box.

Tax is a very blunt way of trying to accomplish a goal, people are getting fatter and lazier, fat asses vote too.

Maybe they should tax remote control's for TV, dishwashers, heck even washing machines ... I bet you'd burn more calories flogging your washing against a rock at the local creek.

Typical dumb asses, got more creativity in my big toe than those fools would get at an executive meeting, just idiots, all they know is tax and money.

Maybe next you'll see a chain saw tax. Think how much exercise one could get by using only hand saws.

Isn't it just great that politicians have so much free time to think up this stuff? Don't like something then just tax it out of existence. First smokes, next fat ass food, next leaf blowers and chainsaws, while we're at let's add bullets to the list.
