old news. Paul Nosak Raw - USA's Tree Work Ambassador? on Saw For Hire -- Tulsa’s Only Reality-Based TV Show there was a note saying TLC got 7000 complaints. I doubt that many.... but who knows, maybe a lot of angry moms at the foul language wrote in. now there's the note posted that you referred to, about TLC juggling their schedule..... I watched all 13 of the online episodes. There're not as bad as the first 2 week's TV shows. Lots of chatter at another forum....Gerome's wife showed up...saying he's no longer working there, among other things.

wasn't trying to give any news. just an observation on the surprise to me in the power of the orgs i pretty much considered impotent. he is trying to solicit rebutting letters to get it back on. he likely lost a $hitload on his investment. i have been following this from the beginning like you. |

lemme try another one.... I am watchin the news a few minutes ago and come to find that I think 85 crashes happened with air rescue last year and over the last few years the highest incidence of aviation accidents were in fact rescue helicopters. Many people have died. What this says is that if you are in an accident and clinging to your life and they call in air rescue.....pretty good chance the person rescuing you ....is gonna kill you. didn't see that one comin"

Sorry, Dave, I was too dense to catch the real purpose for your thread. Carry on!! However, I was expecting the letter writing campaign to have the desired effect, especially when the ISA and TCIA came on board. Naturally, I was one of the first to send a note.

Nosak would eat this up: I have a 15 sec video of me dropping a 60 foot fir top (from 50 feet up) on a shed, screaming, "Courtesy of Barnett Building Demolition" I'd wanted to drop a tree on the to be demolished house, but the pwr lines were in the way. I've been hoping to do that for a cool old Korean customer, who owns an abandoned house in a wild area. Told me, when he had the go ahead, I could do 3-4 trees, for the logs. Trouble is, fir is paying squat now, and even tho the trees may have 4000 board feet, the pay would be low, even leaving all the brush. But we'd be able to drop the biggest fir in about 3 pieces smack on the house. If it ever happens, I'll be 60 feet up in another one of the firs, with both still and video cameras...
