If you really think about it; people have been using marijuana for countless years. Along with cocaine and opium. People have also been producing alcohol, for their own pleasures. Alcohol has had more deaths related to it than Marijuana. After all, it is a herb, like tobacco and produced for the public market. The only reason basically that is illegal, is that the Government cannot Tax it. And until then, it will remain illegal. It has had known reports made on the subject, that it has medicinal properties, like when they first found penicillin and yet we still to this day use it. Other drugs made consumable by the public, has had known disadvantages and have been withdrawn, but, these have also been approved by our governments. Why?, because the government is skimming their little proportion of the top. Marijuana in my eyes is safe and should be legalised.
I am not a user of the substance.

Thought I could set up a firewood operation there, (ITSA Firewood Service), dump my chip till its needed, store equipment, build a house, shop, etc...

How's this compare to your area?
Land here is cheap....If it is not right on lake Superior. My house is on the "poor side of the road" so it is worth about 80 grand or so. If my house was on the other side of the road "on the lake" it would probably run about 350 grand. I bought hunting property about 2 miles behind my house and it is 89.6 acres. I bought it 7 years ago for 350.00$ an acre. today i could probably get about $1500.00 to $2000.00 an acre for it. and that is pretty cheep compared to most places. I also use the property to dump chips and wood.

One could also argue that the seat belt may have been improperly adjusted, with the strap riding too high up around the neckline. When used right, they should only break ribs, not snap your neck.

But then again, airbags have been known to fug people up too, so shall we do away with them too?

it should be the drivers option to wear a seatbelt, not some nazi politican's.

Seatbelts in vehicles that are fitted with airbags are dangerous.

A seatbelt will stop the body flying forward but the head still shoots forward and hits the airbag which is being blown towards it, causing twice the impact.

With the advances in Airbag technology, seatbelts should be scrapped.
A body length airbag should inflate from the steering wheel, down the steering column and into the footspace to protect the legs.
This, together with the side impact airbags should provide complete protection in a smash!

And nobody then has to wear a seatbelt, yahoo!!!

Yooper, I just read your post about the property you've got.

$350/acre!!! What a steal!!! I'd buy almost *anything* around here if I could find it for under $10K/acre, but it's just not to be had. Still looking though.

Sounds like you've got yourself a nice spot. You mentioned hunting, what kind of game can be found on your land out there?

And Tree-surfer, you just proved my point. lol. Funny, that thing about taxes, we managed to figure out how to tax tobacco. We've even managed to figure out how to tax things that never used to exist. Just not that apparently. I think it's more than taxes.
You're right about the incident-related-deaths though. I read a study once about how stoners actually drive better than drunks. It was put out by USDOT. They did a series of actual tests and found that typically if someone's too stoned to drive, they don't get in the car. Not so with alcohol.

87 grade US gal was up to $4.23 now down to the whopping low price of $4.19
