Well, this is the simplest and fastest/easiest I have used. ![]() http://www.speedtest.net/ I run a 512/512 connection and I'm clocked in at 433/432 which is pretty good. I need the larger upline speed to load videos to the server, you see, the next plan is 256/1500 and the 256 sould take twice as long to load up.

We're switching to optus soon at a 15,000kbps speed down I think it is? So we should be DLing at about 1MPS . Not to sure what our uploads are going to rise to though.

30/214 That's bad! It must take forever for you to see a video. ![]() I suppose embedded pics mike peave you off too. If so, in your user cp you can option it out.

Video's are out of the question for me! Too bad some friends do not understand this and send me video's 5-6mb!! Is a pity, would like to see some of your video's, I love my job and it seems to me you do too. Right now I'm looking into internet via satellite. Mobile internet, sounds great but very expensive outside Sweden I would have to pay 100 swedish crowns about 17$ per 1mb!

1318 / 412 We're on about 1/2 of what's available to purchase here. And Portand has some a bit faster. That 1318 / 412 was what gauged on my computer while my son was gaming online with the other computer through the same router and modem. |

I switched my connection for a 1500/256 and now running at 1322/209 ... not bad, much faster downloads but it sucks loading files up. We got really crap speed choices here and pay out too much anyways, need a net revolution here!

Yeah, it's the new wireless cable, [that has a cable] It downloads really fast, and I got a good deal because I was one of the first to get it. Videos are extra fast, and I think I can download a movie in 5-10 minutes, but I haven't tried that. |

| Sort of, I had dialup with ISDN so I could use 2 phones and be online at the same time. Then I got a letter in November saying ISDN was being closed down in December and I could get a good deal if I changed to cable, so I checked it out and rang them, [Bigpond] complained about lack of notice, upsetting my work phone etc, they were very nice but didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Anyway after 2 weeks I had cable Liberty, 8Mbps/128kbps, unlimited usage, 1GB download in 4 minutes and 2 phone lines for less than I was paying, and 6 months at half price. Even the guys connecting it didn't seem to know much about it, then I read the letter again, it was giving me 13 months notice not 1. |

well, after some huge stories I could write a book on I now have a high speed ADSL2+ connection. ![]() This is fast, I'm clocking 6.37mb/s downline speed and 0.31mb/s upline speed. That's fast and heed this warning, DO NOT TRUST OPTUS WIRELESS USB INTERNET!

Ran it again this time with more typical results. I usually see around 20 Mbps running on the Verizon FIOS fiber optic network. |

Speedtest gave me ![]() And ScanmySpeed gave me a way different result that sucks, plus it doesn't have an easy way of copying the result, no ping means no idea how far away the server is etc. Also I bet you only did this for the link as it's a fairly new site perhaps online March 2011. So I have changed the link.
