Default Cheap skates "Classifieds"

It never ceases to amaze me what people will try and get done for nothing these days!

Feel free to add your own "Cheapskates" if you see any

Description;
We have an excess of clean soil (red) that we would love to give away! You will need something low to go through our garage and then you can back your ute/trailer up to within 2 metres. A 2 tonne excavator or bob cat will be ok. Please phone , don't email as i don't have internet at the moment. Thanks.

Description;
We have a small Liquid Amber tree which we want removed.

Almost certain it is Liquid Amver,

We do not want any payment for the tree, but:

1) you will have to remove it yourself - not as hard as it sounds, and possible with hand tools, which we have here - and

2) we would like you to bring enough top soil to fill the hole left by the tree

Pre stump grinders I dug out a lot of stumps, winches/jacks/whatever and only ever got beaten twice. Liquid Amber was one.

If some one got it out they'd need a truck load of soil to fill the hole.

Gumtree is a good place to see the real cheapskates. I remember a while back I saw one which was something like 'cheap firewood', you come cut down the 60 odd ft Euc, cut up the wood yourself and take it away.

Practically everyday @ work someone asks us if we can put their green waste through our machines or if we can cut something off their tree for nothing. I remember a while ago while we were doing powerlines this elderly man comes out and asks us to cut down his tree, my colleague says it will cost him and then the guy gets a little ragey at him for expecting payment for cutting a tree down...

We get the same thing here, the ad's are free for anything under $500 in Friday's paper & you can bet your house that there will be several ad's every Friday inserted by wankers wanting their Washingtonia's removed for free. The cheekier ones even ask $200 each for them. They try to make it sound like they're doing you a favor!

And Camphor Laurel would've been the other one!!

All classifieds are a great source of cheapskate ads.
I placed an ad for bricks wanted/removed free once.
Bad mistake, I had dozens of calls people wanting to pick them up???
I told one guy "Did you even read the ad?" cos he was so enthusiastic.
A great place to get rid of stuff though.
Usually the cheap rubbish is most popular.
