Exactly, and that's why I dont have a whole lot of time for small brained nit pickers about spelling or grammer for that matter.

thought here would be a good place to inform many others that even though you KNOW "its" spelled wrong... why must you comment that "its" NOT spelled correct.

Nit pickers that's why.

One of the great things about engineering and electronics is the fact that so much is diagrams and relies little on written english.

You can get an electronics technician from Germany, Australia or India and they'll understand the circuit.

Similar with engineering and numbers are the same in every language.

I see this kind of thing as a lark. People should always strive to be as eductated as they can. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD do it
(trust me on this one, I'm young, and savvy in the ways of learning these types of lessons)

I think that correcting someone's grammar/spelling issues is kind of like a helping hand towards making sure every voice is heard with the true intent that it wishes.

"Witch do you puffer? No wing weather the whether is going to spit it's furry, or if its going to be a descent day."

(reading something like this would eventually drive me crazy)

Have to disagree with ya on this one Therrin. (no offence)

As long as the post is coherent enough so i can understand it, it's good enough for me.

I think the more important thing is the use of smilies, they help to set the tone of the post.

Like if i was saying to someone,

Ya bloody wanker
(all in good fun)

Or,

Ya bloody wanker
(I'm coming round to your house right now to pop a cap in your ass!)

Eh, that's not what I meant.

It's certainly "good enough" for forum purposes, but I just see corrections as helpfully instead of snobbishly.

just joking hoot. I was trying to show the difference between a happy smilie & an angry smilie.

There's no caps, there's no ass, and your certainly live too far away for me to pop over to your house.

Ken,

I must have misread your post, i was just trying to explain that i dont care about spelling/grammer mistakes.
I think it's more important to set the tone with the correct use of smilies.
Hope that clears it up.

Regards Simon

p.s. just to be a smartass, i think you meant "helpfull" not "helpfully" in your post.
Sorry mate i couldn't help myself.

I'd keep an eye on Hoot over there, I'm pretty sure he's gangsta.
