Default Australian Housing

Yahoo!

Thought this little news video was pretty cool. Apparently some people have it figured out pretty well. I'd love to have a place like that.

I had started digging a hole to put an underground room at my parents old place where I grew up, by the time we moved out, I had dug it by hand, 12 ft x 16 ft, by about 14 foot deep. Never got to do anything with it but that sure was alot of digging for a shovel!!!

I'd like to hot-tar mop a shipping container and bury it... that'd be pretty niffty.

Sound that!

What's to stop someone buying a plot (with no planning permission) and building underground anyway.

If it ain't visible what's the harm?
