I've got aphids on my sugar snap peas!

I've been hitting them with jets of cold water to knock them to the ground. Maybe try some Safers soap this afternoon. Most chemicals for aphid control are not for food crops.

It is interesting watching ants farm aphids. They move them around peonies, etc. and eat the honeydew secreted by their bodies that also sticks on your windshield if parked under them. Doesn't look like much fun being an aphid.

Its called viper. It's sold at most feed and grain stores and the veggies are still edible afterwards[obviously they need rinsing].
