Hello,,I am new here. Doing a paper about tree limb weight. I remeber my Great Uncle,,who was into math and figures, always said trees were amazing in that they could suspend so much weight in a branch far out in space away from the tree. That without bacing of somekind, man could never match it. Was he correct? I am wondering just how much weight some trees suspend in this way? I have some huge oaks around my place, that have very large diameter limbs stretching many feet from their trunks. I am an American so I would like numbers in pounds. Thanks alot!
