By fishing around here I managed to locate a great power point file, it's 4.8mb but worth the download. http://treesandhurricanes.ifas.ufl.edu/ Post USA hurricane analysis of what will work, some good rule of thumb guides. That pub is good work. Note the author sanctions heading cuts on damaged trees; this was revolutionary 5 years ago but gradually becoming standard.
