For those in OZ but not in Qld you will have a reasonable selection of good quality nurseries that are growing trees to an advanced size in accordance with NATSPEC standards. The book "Specifying Trees" by Ross Clark contains all the requirements to produce advanced tree stock of excellent reliable quality...it has been adopted and accepted by a reasonable number of nurseries and landscape firms (the bigger ones anyway). For the US guys it is similar to the specifications developed to produce grades of advanced stock in Florida. |
