Here's a log weight chart I pinched from Sherrill's. For Eucs just use the heaviest oak. A rule of thumb to remember is when you double the diameter you quadruple the weight. When you double the dia of a cylinder you quadruple the volume. So if you have larger log then the chart shows just look for a dia 1/2 what your log is, find the value for it and multiply by 4. ![]() Here's an online calculator for cylinder volumes, test it out for yourself.
