Often as arborists we are required to estimate the trees canopy. This is a handy calculator to use. You have two types to choose from, surface area or volume. Online Calculator for Tree Surface Area and Tree Volume I have built an online calculator for the Revised Burnley method which uses the cone volume built in, so if you are working out a trees value just use the online calculator.
