assistance please with statistics on the industry

I am chasing some assistance with some information regarding the growth of the aroborist industry specifically relating to the stump grinding area in South Eastern area of Queensland. I need to provide some statistical information to some government bureaucrats who want proof of the growth in the industry. I have tried the track of it being one of the fastest growing regions in Australia and the population increase is continuing... and new development requires a demand for more housing and more removal of trees and thus stumps as well as increased rainfall after the many years of little rain has resulted in growth spurts in trees and thier roots resulting in problems for householders... they are insisting on some sort of statistic rather than here say and my opinions... can anyone assist with some information or suggestions of where i might find some info?? thanks in advance for any assistance.

a lopa...

hopefully a small grant to assist with the purchasing of some equipment... although i am begining to think they are asking me to jump too many hoops ... information is proving very difficult to find.... thus asking for assistance from others...

The existing market is already over serviced in my opinion.

Most residential developments are cleared with dozers and excavators, stumps are pulled out which is better than grinding.

The ratio of tree businesses with stump grinders is higher today than 10 years ago so outsourcing stumps is getting lower.

The growth in businesses servicing is exceeding the growth rate of the work out there.

It is tougher now than 10 years ago, and many pay less now than they did 10 years ago due to the competition out there. The door knockers alone were pretty much unheard of 10 years ago and these days there's hardly a household that hasn't been hassled by them, regularly.
