I am looking for a tree with a height of 20-30 feet that I can plant about 6 feet from a brick paver patio. I prefer something with a moderate to fast growth rate but that doesn't have roots that will damage my patio. I'd also like something that will provide some shade since we receive lots of afternoon sun (western exposure). I am in U.S. zone 5 (Chicago, IL). Thanks.

Yes, the cold is not the reason I stay in this area! Either flowering or deciduous is fine with me. |
