Morning all, Just a quick question for the Australian Arborists and Tree Loppers out there. What qualifications do you currently have a what qualifications would you like to gain? Reason I ask is I have a friend considering it as a career and also for personal interest. I'm currently a Parkie but worked on and off for an Arborist and a Tree Lopper while at uni and I really enjoyed it! How would you recommend going about things for someone considering it as a career? Cheers and kind regards, Rob |

Thanks mate I will look into it.. When you say you are working towards your dip arb, how are you doing that? I presume you're still working day to day and are doing the dip arb on the side? Is that a competencies based dip, i.e do you have to be working to do it or is it just like a regular diploma you can go and do at uni/tafe? Cheers and have a good one, Rob |

you can do both! take the odd day off here and there to go to classes or just go through the uni full time, but to be honest after cert III it's all about business and less about the hands on work.
