Hi, I have an interesting tree that we bought about 10 years ago and if I knew what this tree was going to do, I never would have bought it. The tree is about 15 to 20 feet high now, the leaves start off like a reddish purple and then they turn green. Well, the part I don't like is that their roots shoot into tiny little trees under them, and every year we have to dig and pull all the roots out because they turn into little trees. This is a job that we no longer can do as we are getting older in age. My son wants to rip the tree out and now I am all for it too, because it is hard work and takes all day to rip these roots out. Can you tell me what kind of tree produces trees from the root, just so that I don't make the mistake again by getting another one of these things. The picture that I have attached is the only one that I have, I was taking pictures of the progress and really didn't take a picture of the tree itself. Thanks |

Well, I can't upload the picture as it says the file is too big, so I will not worry about that. I just really want to know what kind of tree does shoots from the roots Thanks. |
