Hey, i'm trying to find a tree that can be bought and/or found in the US that looks something like some of the african savannah trees. ![]() something like this tree except smaller. in general i'm looking for something that comes up to about 7 feet (give or take a few) and then has branches that go more or less straight out horizontally. thanks so much for your help. I just looked up Providence and it seems to be next to an iceberg or something ... it's further north than NY city and I know that joint freezes over.I think Africa's climate is way different. Like here you could get away with a poinciana I suppose for that look. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=providence&ie=UTF8&split=0&gl=au&ei=eKuHSvvNCYGXkQWFxeGWBw&ll=41.906365,-72.229614&spn=2.546837,4.938354&z=8&iwloc=A Maybe some locals will chime in with something that could substitute that look.
