Default Trying for Truffles

Hi Folks,
I live in North Carolina in the USA. We have a couple hundred Eastern Filbert trees that were innoculated to produce the Perigord Truffle. We have gotten some but would like to improve the output. Using an "Air Spade" was suggested to loosen the soil and add oxygen to the ground. I have never heard of an Air Spade before today and was wondering if any of you use them. Do you have a ball park figure on how much one would cost for a small orperation?
Thank and have a great day,

Rick
