Default treeman needs help

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently became a licensed pesticide applicator, and have had customers ask such questions as what if the product doesn't perform. Such as what if the tree dies . What recourse would I have against a products manufacture ? Thanks in Advance , Treeman48507

I suppose this is where your insurance matters.

I think doctors are in similar situations all the time. What if the tree dies but of something else?

If the product doesn't perform and it was applied in accordance with the label then that's life. What if chemo doesn't work for some?

I think these things need to be clearly explained up front and agreed upon.

What I see is worse and you could cop it is misdiagnosing the problem, such as saying the tree needs imidachlorprid when in fact it was a fungal disease.

Are you in a heavy infestation? Are you using Tree-Age? I have been doing some EAB prevent. treatments the last couple of years. I am a CA and a licensed appl. also and would like to hear more. I also have e mail correspondence with a top level researcher at Ohio State.

The good things with this treeman, seems like it would bring work through the winter with takedowns and also planting just prior and just after and even during winter.(?). I have been to an early infest. area before fly period and we have one within 8 miles, a guy (in heavy pressure area) told me they are smashing into your windshield, getting stuck under the wipers and getting crunched underfoot and buzzing into your face. Is it that heavy up there and does it subside?

Ahhhh, the "GREEN MENACE".....when I see that in print I think of Dennis the Menace painted shiny green with wings flying all over getting into trouble and loving every minute of it.
