Tree ID

Can someone help me identify this tree. I recently bought property and this tree is on it and I can't find out what it is. I have attached pictures. It is covered in pink flowers. I'm actually not sure if it is a tree or bush although it is about 10ft tall. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sure looks like a native azalea in the USA.

That sounds about right - azalea.

The ones near Brookings, Oregon and the coast redwoods are getting ready to open up soon.

What area are you in?

Yes it is a native azalea. It looks so different from the azalea's I am used to. I am in southeast Louisiana. Thank you for your help!
