Default Treat Phoenix canariensis against rhynchophorus ferrugineus

How to treat phoenix canariensis against rhynchophorus ferrugineus also known as Curculio ferrugineus Olivier, 1790 , Calandra ferruginea Fabricius, 1801 or Signaticollis Rhynchophorus Chevrolat, 1882 ?

I,ve been told to use imidacloprid and abamectine in tree injection, should it have any solvent? Wich solvent?

Thanks for your help.
