Default termites in stump

we have been told that we have termites in one of the stumps we have on our property. As far as they could tell there not in the house or any where else. So I was wondering if removing the stump, and probably the rest as well, would be an option to get rid of the termites. The stumps are palm trees and we live on the gold coast qld.

I've never seen termites in a palm, but a lot of things happen on the Gold Coast that I don't know about.

we have only been here a few weeks so we don't know how long ago it was chopped down but the pest guy said it was alot drier than the others so thats why the termites were in this stump. There is no nest just the termites.

Ditto, if it's a palm there's bugger all roots like a real tree for them to eat, get a stump grind.

Ring around, ask how deep they will take it.

Get 3 qoutes and don't just take who is cheapest they might also be the nastiest.

1 stump, expect a minimum charge.... anywhere between $50 and $100 I guess unless you're out woop woop.

Also measure access, machines vary in size.
