I planted 3 Poplars 3 years ago and up until this spring they have been doing great. Now only two are doing great. Two of the three were rubbed by elk last fall and one of those two is doing great, the other not so great. The one that is struggling tried to bud but hasn't while the other two are leaving per normal. The "struggler" does have some new branches growing low and those are leaving per normal as well. I'm wondering if there might be a chance for this tree or if you think it is doomed to die. Thank you for your insight. M- |

Need some pics to see what you are talking about - each of the trees. distant and closeup, buds/leaves, branches, trunk, base of trees etc.
