I have an estimated 60'+ pine tree close (directly adjacent to my patio). The girth is approx. 5'+. I am planning to lay some flagstone between the 3' o clock - 6' o clock position off the tree from a distance of 2'. I am uncertain of the potential damage I may cause the tree if I were to cut the roots back. Is it safe to cut back this amount of the exposed roots? Any suggestions please? |
