Default royal empress

hello im in kansas city kansas and i wanted to know about the paulownia tree (royal empress) i need to know if it will grow good here in kansas and what are the problems with the tree i have been getting conflicting infomation from my local area nusreries thanks for any help

First of all welcome to Treeworldand heres some info on the Paulownia.
I planted one here in florida and within 1 growning season it was 10' tall they are fast growing and can usually tolerate poor soil conditions.Heres a few links.
