HI, I have 4 about ten feet high red maples in my yard that I transplanted two years ago. Their leaves this year are smaller than normal. Are they sufffering from a nutrient deficentcy or something? IS there anything I can do? Thanks |

some times if the root ball is constricted. ie. heavy glazing on the sides of a hole bored in clay soil. the tree can form smaller than normal foliage, in bonsai trees they advance this somehow. im not sure that answers your questions, but it came to mind
