Default problem plan tree

[B]we have a problem with our oriental plan tree when new leaves come they soon go brown and dry. the foleage this year has been very sparce we live near the coast and at times very high winds

Anthracnose sounds plausible Derwoodii, but your reference indicated that Oriental plane is least affected. Pis of tree, leaves and site would help a lot.
