Default Poss Cabling required Beenliegh

Customer of mine (Windaroo area. Sth of Beenliegh) has a 25m gum, 8m off the house that she'ld like to keep. Healthy except for 10m up it splits into two ?leaders? with the fork being ?compartmenting? (ie fork looks like its torn .5m down, then healed.) Just wondering if theres a forumite who is experienced at cabling and interest in advising/ quoting the work? My initial advise was "live at the other end of the house until they had it cut down." (ok, slight exaggeration) Then I thought of cabling and this wonderful forum. Interested? post a contact no.(nessary), experience (not nessary) and charges for quote(not nessary). I'm not interested in cabling but will be quoting if she decides to bring it down. Customer will be following this thread and deal with you direct. Cheers Kelvin

Kel and client,

I live in Springwood nearby, no charge for a quote, but this is a pretty specialist job so be weary of price shopping coz the cheapest might be the one where the limb ends up on your gravestone.

If the tree is already failing with a crack it may need more than cabling with threaded through rods. I can have a look.

Here's my sites

Brisbane Palm and Tree Services| Qualified Tree Lopping You Can Trust

and of course I own and run this place.

Ekka is the man for your job

I'm sure he can advise whether the tree is a suitable candidate for cabling/bracing, and what type of system is best suited to the tree.
