The solution is very simple, dont spike the trees. If you cant do it, find some one who can. If the view is worth a million dollars, whats a few extra bucks for good tree work?

To answer your question directly, there are products to fill holes but they WILL DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD.

Last year we were collecting seed from 200ft Doug fir trees, 100ft to the first branch... No spikes, no big shot. It can be done trust me. I might be able to put you onto climbers in your area that can do it if you want...

Cheers James

Yeah i agree with Jim1NZ, no need for spikes. Get a throw ball and a line and you should be able to get a climb line up there. It will be quicker than painting holes with a chemical. (which is generally not to common anymore as it does more harm than good)

To spike them is lazy and unnessesary there are hundreds of climber who could climb them spikeles however what i think your proposing is to lop the top off the trees in which case you neither have the knowledge or understanding of tree biology, call a qualified arb on how to prune these correctly if it's a million dollar view get a top quality job done not just lop and hack.
if you are the contractor who is contracted to do the job your out of your depth get a good contract climber in asap.
