Default Pear tree problem

Hello
I have recently had 9 Capital Pear Trees planted in my garden (about 2-3 months ago).

These were bare rooted when planted and now are covered with leaves - except 2.

Secondly, I have noticed one in particular seems to have a lot of its leaves "eaten" and ragged looking or with lots of holes. On close inspection the tree alongside it also has some holes in the leaves.

Can anyone tell me what might be causing this (or eating my tree) and also, why 2 of the 9 trees have not yet got any leaves at all?

I am not a greenthumb so this is all new to me.

Thanks
Melissa

Melissa, post some pics if you can/will please. Should elininate alot of the guesswork. Close up shots of the damage and full tree shots.
Someone will take interest in helping if you can do this. Pics sometimes reveal what words and the untrained eye will miss. There are some very good arborist who are members of this site so give them plenty of information they need to help you.
Thankyou
