Default Is this palm climb-able?

Gday there, just realised I didn't take a shot of the head, and being a victorian, and an ignoramis, dunno what species...
Suffice to say the client wants it cleaned, and I'd just rather climb it than waste a lot of time hiring a tower. Never climbed a palm before, it's not too big, maybe 4-5m in the trunk.

Wotcha think...

Washingtonia robusta likely.

At that height I doubt any size skirt would be a problem if it did collapse.

As you go up pull the fronds off.

Some will carry on about spiking palms to clean them. I no longer clean them, just kill them.

Perfectly climbable- as long as you are prepared to put up with the spikes, itchy, dusty/fibrous crap and realise that those cut frond stubs that people seem to like the look of will come of under your feet- can be a slip hazard- i explain to clients that they are a hazard and will come of in chunks anyway - sometimes you can clean off the whole stem- obviously takes a bit longer, but safer, looks better (i reckon). sometimes those stubs hang on like a rabid dog- sometimes not. I always charge like a wounded bull with these things- if im gunna do the crap job, i want good$$.
