I have an Oak tree where most of the lower branches only have leaves at the end of the branches. They are pretty big branches. I've been trimming a few completely dead branches each year for a number of years. On these existing branches, it looks like the entire branch is dead except for the last few feet. Any suggestions for what to do with this? Should I take them down, prune the smaller dead off-shoot branches or just leave them. They just look very strange. thanks for yous help. |
