Default Norway Maple crack in trunk

Hello-
Any feedback as to what to do with this 50-foot Norway Maple greatly appreciated.

Pics of the crown are needed and posted to this server.

Crown weight reduction to reduce splitting apart, cabling the two stems, bolting -- all possibilities, but only guesses -- need to see crown as well. How long has the tree been like this?

That is the crown and the base of the trunk , need to see what's in between. But, cabling is probably worthwhile, and reducing weight on the outlying branches. Why not call in a knowledgeable arborist and see what he/she suggests?
